The theme of JICC 2006 addresses the timely and important topic of Informatization to Advance the Digital City: Current Developments and Future Trends. Informatization is a dominant, technological force that can drive rapid advancements in the digital city through widespread application of information and communication technologies. This conference will discuss the status quo and future trends of informatization, with an emphasis on our regional developments (especially Hong Kong, Zhongshan, pan-PRD citites and beyond).
